In a quiet home in Sakura, Japan — the same home that once shared its days with Kabosu, the original Doge who became the friendliest face on the whole internet — a small cat hopped onto the table, folded into a loaf, and looked up.
No campaign. No launch. No roadmap. Just a warm little introduction and a name: 海 — Umi, meaning “the sea.” A calm, gentle, endless kind of name.
Yes — the family famous for the world's most beloved dog quietly kept a cat. Somehow that only makes it more wholesome. Umi never asked to be a meme. The internet just fell in love, like it always does. 🐾

Rescued at just 300g, tiny Umi has already grown to 700g — and every virus test came back clear. 🎉
So the living room was finally unlocked, and Umi met Gin-chan for the first time. Gin stared like 「なんだ、このちっちゃいのは…？」 — “what… is this tiny one?” — while little Umi just rolled around, not a care in the world.
大物の予感しかありません 😹 — this one's destined for big things. 🐾
